Our work began with a small group of volunteers supporting children from low-income families with basic learning materials. At this stage, the focus was on ensuring children could attend school with essential supplies such as notebooks, stationery, and uniforms.

As needs increased, we expanded support to include school uniforms and books. We worked closely with families and local schools to identify children most in need.

We began working more closely with schools and community groups, supporting school events and strengthening relationships with educators and parents.

In response to teacher shortages, we introduced digital learning support and shared lessons, enabling one teacher to support multiple schools.

Our activities expanded to support more schools and students, particularly in deprived and conflict-affected areas in Northern Pakistan (KPK).

Light Up Future was formally registered as a Community Interest Company in the UK, strengthening governance, transparency, and our ability to scale impact.
